Life Skills Through Adventure
Our unique recreation-based programme uses adventure in and out of the classroom to teach valuable life skills such as communication, goal setting, teamwork, problem solving and resilience.
Res-Kids is an eight week long course developed and run by the Koinonia Trust Board that we offer for half a day, once a week during school hours to schools in Auckland. It is designed to teach students valuable life skills and encourage them to apply those skills to their everyday world.
In order for Res-Kids to remain a completely free resource available to benefit schools, teachers, and ultimately; the children who are our leaders of tomorrow – we have an on going need for support.
If you would like to support us in our vision of seeing this programme accessed by as many schools as possible, then please check out the many ways you can get involved; or contact us to find out more.
